With LJ going down the tubes fast, maybe it's time to start updating this journal instead.
... Not that I was doing all that much on the old one, but hey, it's the thought that counts...
Anyway, random thought of two days ago, regarding the Tea Party leadership symbolically tearing up a Quran in front of the White House in order to... To... Well, I'm sure they meant it as a statement of something or other and weren't just being a bunch of pricks.
ANYWAY, getting back to the point: How much are you willing to bet that the same chaps that felt the need to assert their God-Given First Amendment Rights to tear up a Quran are the exact same people that loudly support a constitutional amendment to make "desecration of the Flag" equivalent to high treason?
I know, I know, consistency never was their forte, just felt like pointing it out...
